Music Booster Position Descriptions:


President : Plans and runs meetings - sends reminders to chairpersons - stays in contact with teachers and chairpersons throughout the year to make sure needs are being met.


Vice-President: Helps president when necessary - willing to step into the role of President the following year.


Secretary:  Keeps minutes - needs to be able to attend meetings


Sunshine Committee Chair:  Music Wall of Fame, treats throughout the year for honor band and choir kids. 


Event Coordinator: Plans for events hosted - organizes parent volunteers, creates signs and preps buildings for events.  Helps manage the site on days of events.





Indianola Music Boosters

Indianola Music Booster meetings are usually held on the 2nd Monday of every month except for July.  Meeting are held in the IHS Orchestra Room at 7:00 PM.    Indianola has a strong reputation of music education but we can't do it without your help. Music Boosters supports the Indianola School Music programs in grades Kindergarten through 12th grade. Each year we distribute money to the school district's music teachers to pay for sheet music, musical instruments, instrument repair, music computer programs, equipment and any other expense the music teacher believes is necessary to help his or her students develop their musical interest and talents.

  Please consider helping the Indianola School music teachers develop that interest and talent by becoming an Indianola Music Patron and provide a well-rounded education for the students of Indianola.
